I remember that day that we set the date,
I was so happy I almost couldn't wait.
Only a couple months until that day,
Yet I didn’t know how we were going to pay.
I set for hours thinking about what to write,
But for some reason I couldn't get it right.

And yet I couldn't write.
One month went by in a hurry,
Things were getting so blurry.
Not knowing if everything will be perfect,

The dress was late,
The invitations were great.
The place was booked,
And yet we Still didn't know if we had a cook.

The butterflies were to.
The gown was on,
But I couldn't find my other shoe.
I walked in the door,
And I was ready to walk down that stone path.
The music started and so did the tears,
We all were running around to get ready.

And we were on our way.
We said our vow’s,
And then our I Do’s.
I was so overwhelmed,
About how beautiful it was.
That I had forgotten,
To get our bouquet’s off the fire place.
I became the happiest women in the world that day,
